On Saturday, April 25th, 2015 at a gala event, Artistic Director Jamil Khoury was honored by the Association for Asian American Studies as the 2015 recipient of the Association's Community Leader Award.
The award honors an individual who has shown exemplary leadership and service to the Asian American community at-large.
Upon presenting the award to Jamil, Professor Laura Kina said "We're so pleased to be able to recognize and honor your multiple contributions as an artist as well as an advocate for more inclusive storytelling. You've inspired a generation of artists."
