Awards - Artistic Awards
An organization’s impact and success is often measured by the accolades and awards it has received. We’ve often said that the most meaningful recognition is that which is given by the communities from which we hail, and the communities which we serve. As an organization that intersects art, activism, engagement, and learning, our communities are many. Since 2003, juries of our peers have been recognizing our excellence in achievement, both organizationally and as individuals, and we are enormously proud of that fact. Each award has instilled confidence and assuredness and has inspired us not only to continue our work, but to keep raising the bar on how we approach it Awards create accountability not only to those who bestow the honor—most importantly, they hold us accountable to our mission and to ourselves.
